Under the Government’s Early Years Programme, all 3 and 4 year olds become eligible for 15 hours of free nursery education (38 weeks per year), the term after their third birthday. Nursery will fill in all the paperwork and will receive The Nursery Education Grant directly. Expansion of free early years places for 2 year olds to start in the Autumn Term. Parents who are on low income may be entitled to the 15 hours’ free entitlement. Go along to your nearest children’s centre, along with proof of benefits/income and details of your child, and let us know if you can claim the 15 hours.

Hopespring Nursery provides free healthy snacks to all children at the setting. This is provided twice a day in the morning and afternoon sessions. A variety of fruit, milk and water are offered to the children. The children are given the opportuntity to build indepndnet decision making skills. Children are encouraged to drink milk and water throughout the day.

The Nursery caters for any special dietary requirements such as; dairy free diets, vegetarian and any food allergies.
